Simple Bread Stuffing

2 loaves of bread for stuffing
tyme or poultry seasoning
1 medium size onion
1 egg
water or a can of chicken stock

break up bread in a large pot
chop onion,
in frying pan add 1 tblsp of butter melted add onion and season with tyme or poultry seasoning
saute onion till soft do not brown
add onion and egg and tyme or poultry seasoning
now start pouring water and mix by hand
You will use your judgement on how much water to add as you mix by hand
The bread should be saturated but not falling apart, it should hold together to make a loaf or stuff a bird.
If making a loaf in a greased pan cook at 325 for 30 mins.

You can also add crumbled sausage to this for a variation you would need to brown the sausage first in a pan. Take sausage out of casing and brown
